FREE WORKSHOP
Rural Water Supply and Community Risk Reduction
Insurance Services Office (ISO) is responsible for collecting information about every community in the nation concerning community risks. They provide information to insurance companies that underwrite commercial and homeowner insurance. Every community is assigned an ISO rating that details the level of protection a community (or fire department) can provide.
Two identical, free workshops are scheduled:
Litchfield Fire Company, Litchfield, CT - Thursday March 8, 2012, 9:30 AM - 3:30PM
Salem Volunteer Fire Company - Friday March 9, 2012, 9:30 AM - 3:30PM
and learn what information ISO uses to determine rates, what changing an ISO rating means for a community how lowering a community rating can affect insurance rates.
