EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT
Latest Update 2/12/2016, 4:32 AM ....

It appears many residents are not benefitting from a free service that keeps them informed about town emergencies.  The messages emanate from me, and are transmitted through a system named "Everbridge." This is a service that NS already pays (big bucks) for. The "robo" calls are transmitted to residents' telephones, cell phones, and computers.  BUT...if residents don't register, they are not included when alerts go out.  It's easy to register. Simply Google "CTALERT" and follow the instructions. Thank you.

This NEW PAGE will contain info from NS's Director of Emergency Management, Gary Baron, re Upcoming Extraordinary Circumstances affecting our residents - Storms, Virus Infestations, Public Safety Alerts, etc. To Contact Gary, Call 860-857-2614 during the Emergency Only. At other times call Town Hall, 860-535-2877 x 10.
Please note these phone numbers in your phone book.
